My name is Ron Street, and I am a Realtor affiliated with RE/MAX Central Santa Rosa. I grew up in the San Jose Bay Area when there were miles of orchards and acres of planted vegetables and fruits.  My dreams probably have many things in common with yours. I fell in love with Santa Rosa as the community to raise my family. I have lived in Santa Rosa, since 1969, and am happy to share my knowledge of the area with you.  My son Chris grew up in Rincon Valley went to Sequoia Elementary School and was very active in Soccer, Scouting and Baseball.  He later graduated to bicycles, skateboards and guitars. He now lives in San Jose with his wife Danell and my two grand daughters, Diana & Jessica.  It’s also, new cars, houses, roller hockey, golf and “The Brownies” (His Band) “He’s still a kid at heart!”.  My decision to move to Santa Rosa was guided by my desire to nurture my family in a smaller vibrant community.  Wow!  How lucky I am to have made that decision.  I established my own company in 1972, “Lemontree Realtors” a respected real estate firm recognized for it’s many contributions to the community.    It still gives me a thrill whenever someone mentions our contributions over the years.  Sonoma County is a wonderful place to live and work.  So many opportunities exist for every activity, vocation or occupation.  We have grown over the years, but in many ways we have maintained our “home town” atmosphere.  In 1983 I became a stockbroker and later a Registered Investment Advisor managing money for Citibank’s highest net worth clients.  In 1996 I returned to my true love…helping people realize many of our common dreams, goals and desires of owning real estate in the heart of the wine country.  

We really love the strategic location that gives us ready accessibility to San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, the mountains, the redwoods and the beaches.  It’s just a short ride to the theatre in San Francisco or an early morning ride to the ski slopes of North Shore Nevada.  The weather is moderate and allows me to get out and play some tennis or golf almost any day. 

Santa Rosa is a very active community with opportunity locally for play, work and family.  We are blessed with many of the finest medical specialists from around the world.  We have first class medical facilities for most specialties.  Additionally, service clubs, community organizations, volunteer groups and more are very active in the community.  I am active in Santa Rosa West Rotary, the North Coast Hobo’s, the Empire Breakfast Club and the Sonoma County Community Foundation.
